Healing Beyond the Past

Trauma isn't just a memory of a difficult event; it’s a physical and emotional "stuckness" that lives in your nervous system. Whether you are navigating the aftermath of a single incident or the weight of "complex trauma" (C-PTSD) from childhood, your brain may still be operating in survival mode—leaving you feeling hyper-vigilant, exhausted, or disconnected.

We don't just ask you to "talk about it." Our trauma-informed approach uses cutting-edge, neuro-biological techniques to help your brain process what it couldn't at the time, allowing you to finally feel safe in your own body.

Our Specialized Healing Modalities

To provide the most effective care, we utilize evidence-based tools that go beyond traditional talk therapy:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): A gold-standard treatment for PTSD. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (like guided eye movements) to help your brain "reprocess" traumatic memories so they no longer carry the same emotional charge.

  • BLAST Technique (Bi-Lateral Analysis and Stimulation Treatment): Developed from EMDR and neuro-linguistic programming, BLAST is a rapid and highly effective way to reduce the intensity of negative emotions and intrusive thoughts, often providing relief in a shorter timeframe.

  • IFS (Internal Family Systems): Often called "Parts Work," IFS helps you identify and heal different parts of your personality—like the "protector" parts that use anxiety to keep you safe or the "wounded" parts carrying old pain. It’s a gentle, transformative way to achieve internal harmony.

Is Trauma Therapy Right for You?

Trauma can manifest in ways you might not expect. We help clients navigate:

  • Flashbacks and Nightmares: Quieting the intrusive "re-living" of events.

  • Emotional Numbness: Moving from "shut down" to feeling alive again.

  • Chronic Shame or Guilt: Shifting the narrative from "it was my fault" to "I survived."

  • Relationship Triggers: Healing the wounds that make it hard to trust or connect.
